We have 19 days left to appeal to the USFWS, Director Dan Ashe, and Secretary Sally Jewell to drop their proposal to delist our Gray Wolves from "endangered" status under the Endangered Species Act.
When I back tracked for my comment to them today to find the exact date that this started, (again *),  I was shocked to find that it has been almost a year that they opened up their comment period. April 25. 2013.
It was supposed to be 90 days. Not almost a year.

*(Remember, we went through this many years ago when Ken Salazaar held the position now held by Secretary Jewell. Deja Vu. )

So....
I am not a writer.
Not a wolf scientist.
Not a biologist.
Not employed by any branch of the USFWS or Wildlife Services.
Not affiliated with any of the wolf organizations as a donor or volunteer. 
I am an artist/ex advertising illustrator who lost her art while working on this campaign to try like hell to motivate folks to send these friggin' comments to my Government. Via the insanity of the social platforms of Facebook, Google + and Twitter.
I don't think we should have to do this, but that is what USFWS is requesting of us.

March 27. 2014 is the last day.

I sure did try, but so many folks just don't have time to read all of the incredible information that was re blogged. Not written from me, but reposted from really intelligent, passionate people who have dedicated an incredible amount of their lives trying to save our wolves from those who would just assume see wolves dead.

I can see how many folks leave comments, as I check the Fed comment submissions site.

Not as many as will sign a petition.

Frankly, I'm spent.

So, what I'm advocating now is to to take the photo files that will be posted on Twitter between tomorrow, March 7. 2014, and the deadline of March 27. 2014,  just attach them to the "upload file" button on the Fed comment form and send it here.

No need to flip out about giving all of your info to the US Gov. I fill in my first name and send every day. No last name, no address.

That's about it.
I have to get back to my life. My pro-bono funds are gone.
